Feel: This is often referred to as the “new” chapel, it is a tall airy room, with individual seats and a neutral finish, some people find this to be more welcoming.

Feel: This is often referred to as the “old” chapel, it is more traditional in its styling and has a cosier feel.

Location: On Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton, situated next to Southern Cemetery.

Capacity: The Old Chapel can seat 120 mourners and has standing room available for a maximum of 150.

Feel: This is the oldest crematorium chapel in Greater Manchester and despite it being old it still feels cosy and welcoming, but is unmistakably traditional.

Feel: This is called the new chapel, but was built in 1954 so does not have a new feel. It is a small and very compact chapel that would suit a very intimate congregation.

Location: The entrance to Dukinfield Crematorium is on Hall Green Road, Dukinfield and the chapel is situated within the grounds of Dukinfield Cemetery.

Allotted Time: 30 Minutes.

Capacity: Dukinfield Crematorium can seat 100 mourners and has standing room available for a maximum of 150.

Facilities: Screen for pictures/videos to be shown. Organ. Curtain. Speakers outside for additional mourners. 

Feel: Dukinfield Crematorium has a very traditional chapel, which feels larger than it is, recently refurbished they have kept the traditional stylings.

Standard Price: £905.

Location: The Birches Crematorium is nestled in the heart of Cheshire, a short drive away it seats in the countryside of Northwich.

Allotted Time: 1 Hour.

Capacity: The Birches Crematorium can seat 110 mourners and has standing room available for a maximum of 150.

Facilities: Screen for pictures/videos to be shown. Organ. Curtain. Speakers outside for additional mourners. Tea & Coffee/Cake available. Outside funeral option. Double Slot.  

Feel: The Birches Crematorium is a special place with a really relaxed and welcoming feel. Its position in the most glorious grounds means it is a truly calming and special place.

Location: Just outside the main town of Macclesfield, the entrance is located on Prestbury Road.

Allotted Time: 40 Minutes.

Capacity: Macclesfield Crematorium can seat 78 mourners and has standing room available for a maximum of 100.

Feel: Macclesfield Crematorium is a traditional chapel and has a very peaceful feeling, its old chapel building makes it feel like a very special place.
